Proverbs 23:19, 22-25 The Mother of Life (Parents)

23:19, 22-25
19 Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path.
22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
23 Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding.
24 The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him.
25 May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!

   Today is Mother's (Parents') Sunday. May the blessing of the Lord be upon you, your father and your mother, who gave birth, and brought forth with blood, sweat and tears.

   The fifth commandment of the Ten Commandments, Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother. Deut. 5:16, Moses, who had to be cast down to the Nile to die as soon as he was born, survived by the wisdom of his parents (Exodus 2), after he was the leader of Israel, God gave them the Word of God through him.

 Ex. 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you
 Dt. 5:16, "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

1. Mother (parent) gave life, protected and cared for us (22,25).

   Amram and Yogeveth - Moses, the parents is the agent of God.
 
  The words of Solomon.
 25, the mother who bore you;  22, a father who bore you

2. Honor your mother(parents) (Ex. 5:12; Deut. 5:16; Prov. 23:24,25).
  Have fun. Be pleased. Understand and tolerate. Thank you.
 the word of King Solomon. 
23, Buy the truth and do not sell it. The truth is Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) (believing in Jesus Christ) - the greatest respect, the filial piety.

 * Obeying and respecting the spiritual leader whom God has established is also a way of filial piety.

   Hebrews 13:17, Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

3. Three blessings to enjoy when honoring mother
        (Ex. 20:12, Dt. 5:16, Eph. 6: 3)

 1) In the land the LORD your God gave you:

 2) Your life will be long: longevity, health

 3) You will be well and blessed: strong faith peace and joy
  
   In the Lord, parental respect is God's command, pleasing to the Lord, and ethical in heaven. If you obey her(them) in Jesus, you are blessed in the world and enjoy eternal life.

  We bless you to honor your parents and honor your spiritual leader and achieve a beautiful life, a blessed family, and a kingdom in which the reign of God is realized. Amen.
