Lev. 23: 33-44, enjoy the blessing of the Feast of Tabernacles

33-44,
33The LORD said to Moses, 34"Say to the Israelites: `On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD's Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days. 35The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.
36For seven days present offerings made to the LORD by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work. 37("`These are the LORD's appointed feasts, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing offerings made to the LORD by fire -- the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day. 38These offerings are in addition to those for the LORD's Sabbaths and in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the LORD.) 39"`So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest. 40On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. 42Live in booths for seven days: All native- born Israelites are to live in booths. 43so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'" 44So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.

* God makes us enjoy the blessings through the Seven festivals (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpet Day, Atonement Day)

* Question / Do you enjoy the blessings of the Feast of Trumpet and the Day of Atonement?

1. Remember the life of the wilderness after the Exodus, and give thanks and rejoice (40-43) Thanksgiving Day.

The feast of the feast is a thanksgiving season to celebrate the wilderness life of the ancestors and to build a booths in the wilderness from July 15 to 21 after the harvest is finished. They remembered that God fed manna of heavenly food and gave them living water from the rock. Jesus invited thirsty people on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, and those who believe in Jesus receive living water (Spirit) (Jn 7:37,38). It also means enjoying the eternal joy of heaven (Rev. 7:16,17).
Hymn #235,                    # 429(count the blessings received)

2. Keep and enjoy it together (36, 40, Dt 16:14,15)

The Feast of the Tabernacles is a holiday to enjoy together without enjoying alone. The children, the slaves, the Levites in the city, the aliens, the orphans, and the widows all rejoice together, sharing the blessings together and making a community feast. The first day and the eighth day do not labor, but they are all rejoice and bring offerings made to the Lord by fire. It also means church life and family life. Parents and children, first believers and later believers, gather together to help, share words, testify, and fellowship, and grow up to be faithful people.

3. Enjoy the blessing after the Second Coming of Jesus (Rev. 21:3-4; Isa. 2:1-4)

Rv. 21:3-4,
3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
The Feast of the Tabernacles is the completion of one year of farming, the completion of everything soon. The Lord will return and enjoy the best blessings in the new kingdom. We live in a country of peace and deep impression. They will reign forever with Christ. Praise the Lord for giving us a feast to fulfill the maturity of life.

prayer /

God of life, thank you for giving us the Festivals to mature the life of the Lord. Thank you for giving your salvation in the blood of the Passover. Thank you for letting me fill the Lord with food in the unfailing days, to the sinless Lord. Thank you for being born again by the power of the resurrected Lord in the early days. We give praise for giving the Word and the Holy Spirit to Pentecost and to have a deep communication with Him. Praise the Lord for the coming of the trumpet and the testimony of the Lord (Trumpet of the gospel). Thank you for all the people on the Day of Atonement, cleansed with blood and word, cleansed, put on the garments of righteousness, and praised the Lord of salvation.
Lastly, please make a healthy church in the Feast of Tabernacles to build the kingdom of God and to continue the work of salvation. Amen,
