Lev 23: 15-22, Acts 2:1-4, Enjoy the blessings of the Pentecost

15-22,
15"`From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. 16Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD. 17From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the LORD. 18.  Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings -- an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 19Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering. 20The priest is to wave the two lambs before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the LORD for the priest. 21On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live. 22"`When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.'"

Acts 2:1-4, 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

* God makes us enjoy the blessings of God through seven Festivals (the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, the Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, the Festival of Tabernacles).

Question/ Do you enjoy the blessings of the Feast of Firstfruits (the resurrection life, the life of the living hope, and the life of the Lord's first priority in the resurrected Jesus)?
Let us know the meaning of Pentecost and enjoy the blessings.

1. Offer the breads baked with yeast (leavened breads).
Do you thank the Lord for coming to call sinners (Mark 2:17, Matthew 9:13) and live?
15-20. The church is a place to call sinners and save them.

2. Share it with your neighbors (21-22).
Do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.
Let the blessings of the Lord flow to the poor and the foreigners.
Share the benefits of rest with your family (Exodus 20:10,11). Be a witness of the gospel (Acts 1:8).

Ex. 20:10-11, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

3. Give God two leavened breads (17,20). (2 Cor. 12:12,13, Ephe. 2:19-22)
Gentiles and Jews, men and women, covenant people and non-covenant people form one body.
1 Cor. 12:12,13, "12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body -- whether Jews or Greeks,"
Do you serve the Lord as one with your neighbor?

4. The heart of Pentecost is the coming of Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ (Acts 2:1-4).
Live with the filling of the Holy Spirit (Ephe. 5:18)
Join in the Holy Spirit and live according to the Holy Spirit with that power (Eph. 2:16-18, Gal. 5:16, 25).
Eph. 2:16-18, "16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit."
 * What is the way of living in the power of the Holy Spirit thanks to the Holy Spirit?

Prayer/
Lord of the Pentecost, thank you for calling us sinners. Share you with our neighbor.
Let us serve the Lord. May the Lord, who sent the Spirit of Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit and live by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you for the grace and blessing of God who forgave us our sins and gave us ourselves (the sin offering). We confess that all belongs to
the Lord. Make us glorify God with our best. Let us love and care for our hard  neighbors and strangers. Thank you for letting our imperfect
sinner live in the body of the Lord, the blessed church that is united in the Holy Spirit and serving the Lord.Amen.
