Lev 8:5-13, 22-24, Oh! Holy priests of God!

5Moses said to the assembly, "This is what the LORD has commanded to be done." 6Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water. 7He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also tied the ephod to him by its skillfully woven waistband; so it was fastened on him.  8He placed the breastpiece on him and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece. 9Then he placed the turban on Aaron's head and set the gold plate, the sacred diadem, on the front of it, as the LORD commanded Moses.  10Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them. 11He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them. 12He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him. 13Then he brought Aaron's sons forward, put tunics on them, tied sashes around them and put headbands on them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
22He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. 23Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. 24Moses also brought Aaron's sons forward and put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he sprinkled blood against the altar on all sides.

God calls us holy priests. 1 Peter 2:5, 'Holy priest for spiritual sacrifice',
9, 'a royal priest.'    Revelation 5:10, 'a priest before God.' We must receive four ordinances to bear this holy work.

1. Be put His blood on you (23,24).

Right ear, right thumb, and right thumb toe! The ear means hearing God's voice, the hand a holy act, and the foot going to the holy place.
2. Be washed with water (5,6).
6, "Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water." We must be washed our sins by Jesus. Baptism means denying ourselves and acknowledging the Lord's sovereignty.

3. Be put them on the clothes of the priest (7-9, 13)

7He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also tied the ephod to him by its skillfully woven waistband; so it was fastened on him. 8He placed the breastplate on him and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastplate. 9Then he placed the turban on Aaron's head and set the gold plate, the sacred diadem, on the front of it, as the LORD commanded Moses.
It means wearing holy, glorious and beautiful clothes, such as tunic, robe, ephod, sash, breastplate, turban, and gold plate, to resemble the Lord's light, deeds, and personality. Rev. 7:14, they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Romans 13:12,14, So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
Colossians 3:12, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

4. Receive anointing with oil (10-12).

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:27). Let us also take good care of the work of the Lord with the power of God through the filling of the Holy Spirit.

  Prayer/
Let us be imitated of Jesus who is the high priest. Put  the  blood of Jesus on me, baptize in the name of Jesus, deny me and live.  Let me dress the clothes of Jesus Christ, the light, compassion, mercy,  humility,  meekness and patience. Pour me the oil of the Holy Spirit. As a holy priest, let me evangelize the souls as a way of blessing. Let me be a servant to expand the kingdom of God. Amen.
