Acts 3:1-12, A Church That Shows Jesus.  Preacher: Rev. Myung Sun(Emeritus Pastor of Palormar Kor.Church)

 Acts 3:1–12 shows how people who live in close fellowship with Jesus reveal Him to the world. Peter and John did not see the man crippled from birth at the temple gate merely as a beggar, but through the eyes of God. While many people passed by him, the apostles recognized an opportunity for God’s work to be revealed.

Though they had neither silver nor gold, they possessed the name of Jesus Christ, and in the power of His name they declared, “Walk.” At that moment, the man was healed, began to walk and jump, and praised God. Through this miracle, people came to see not the apostles themselves, but the living Jesus. In the same way, the church today must not only sympathize with the needs of the world but also become a community that raises people up through the love and power of Jesus Christ. When we remain in intimate fellowship with the Lord, we begin to see souls that others overlook, practice love and service that others cannot offer, and ultimately reveal Jesus Christ through our lives.
