Dan 6:10,16,23,27-28;12:3,13 Evergreen saint

 Evergreen Tree is a tree that is always green &strong. The identity of God’s worker is the evergreen tree. This is because we are workers who will be faithful to the unchanging God until death. Through the figure of Daniel, a Babylonian captive in today’s text, we listen to three images as an evergreen worker.

1. Become a worker of rising faith(1:8, 6:10, 9: 10:, 11: ,12:).
 15-year-old blue boy Daniel had a life of great trauma as a captive. However, he resolved &lived a holy life, &even when he was 80 or 90 years old, he lived as a worker of rising faith. Like Joshua &Caleb, who were evergreen believers, he had a faith that rose like an eagle(Is.40:31). He was a believer who had faith in resurrection, faith that overcame tribulation, &faith that ascended to the stars in heaven(Jn5:4).

2. A worker of prayer that reaches(10, 2:18, 20-23)
 He is a worker who has consistently prayed for about 70 years from his youth to old age. Even in the face of death(2:18, 20-23), he relied on the promise without ceasing & humbly offered prayers of thanks(6:10). He prayed while fasting &received answers(9:3-19, 10:1-3,12). Live as a worker of prayer that reaches.

3. An eternal worker who receives a reward(1:19-20, 2:48. 5:29, 6:28)
 Do you like receiving rewards? 1:19-20, 2:48, 5:29, 6:28, He is an eternal worker who received a reward from the king of Babylon &Persia, &also received a reward from God as a star in the kingdom of heaven. Rev.22:11,12. The crown of righteousness, the crown of life, I bless you to live as an evergreen worker who receives the crown of glory, the crown of eternal life that will not perish(2Tim.4:8, James1:12, Rev.2:10, 1Pet.5:4, 1Cor. 9:24-25, 1Thess.2:9).

How can we live like that? Heb.13:8, Jn5:17, Heb.12:2. I bless you, my saints, to live as an evergreen saint & a heavenly star with the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word, & prayer. Amen.
