Acts 2:36-47, In what shall we do with astonishing change

36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

When the Holy Spirit touches our hearts, amazing changes happen. The people of Jerusalem who heard Peter's preaching changed into those who shocked the world. It was the work of the Holy Spirit.
Verse 36 says, "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
You crucified Jesus! What is the reaction of the people? 37, saying, Brothers, what shall we do?

There were two good responses. We hope to be like this.
1) They were stuck in their hearts. '(The sermon) pierced their hearts. They received the grace of the Word and realized it deeply.
Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
We are also people who crucified Jesus on the cross. Jesus, who has no sin, died on the cross to pay for our sins. Is there such an enlightenment?

2) "What shall we do?" They who were stuck in the heart asked the apostles for salvation. Acts 16:30, the Philippian jailer also asked for salvation.
You can taste the power and healing, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit when you hear it and do it.  Look at Moses, Isaiah, and Peter. When we despair of ourselves, we return to Jesus. Peter proclaimed to the people asking for salvation. 38, 'Repent and be baptized.' 3:19, Peter proclaimed the same. "Therefore, repent, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing(peace, joy ...) may come from the Lord," Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. 1) Repent. Repent of the sickness in times of despair and suffering for your sins. Salvation begins with repentance. Luke 3:7-11, crowds, tax collectors, soldiers. Luke 19, When Zacchaeus met Jesus, he repented. 2) Be baptized in the name of Jesus. Baptism is his funeral. Baptism is to die with Jesus Christ and live together again.

The results of repentance and baptism are: 1) Forgiveness of sins. 2) Receive the Holy Spirit as a gift. Verse 40, '... be saved from this rebellious generation.' While the people were listening to the gospel, their attitudes began to change.  42-47, those who received the Spirit, they were astoundingly changed. These churches shock the world.
The church full of the Holy Spirit is a moving church. Saints, regardless of circumstances or conditions, prefer the Lord's gospel and can not hide spiritual joy and excitement. Their lives are worship and praise. Let's resemble the image of this inviting Jerusalem church.

A truly living model church, a church restored to its essence (42,47).
1) He was taught by an apostle (42, a church that learns and teaches the Word diligently).
 2) We have communicated with each other.
3) The church that breaks the bread (holy communion, love meal).
4) A church devoted to prayer.
5) Churches with fear and miracles (43)
6) Sharing each other (44,45)
7) Meeting every day (46)
8) A church complimented (47).
9) Evangelism and Revival (47).

* Church like not a korean lettuce (split) but a cabbage (clusters):
Let's get together in the Holy Spirit and become a kingdom of God. Let us all return to the spirit of the early church.
Let us be filled with the Holy Spirit, to repent of our sins, to learn the Word, to concentrate ourselves on worship and prayer, to experience miracles, to gather hard and to sing praises, to be a blessed church that praises our neighbors and works in evangelism. Amen.
