Rev. 19:11-21, Jesus the Victor who will come again.

11-21,
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.
12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”* He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.
20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Today's text shows the Second Coming Lord, the victor who will come again, Jesus and his victory.
Verse 11, The heaven will open, and Jesus will come again on a white horse. God allows us to see God's hope and vision through the open door of heaven. He opened the gates of heaven to the people in captivity and gave a vision of restoration (Ezekiel, Daniel, etc.).

1. What will the Second Coming Jesus look like? (11~16)
 1) Jesus comes again on a white horse (11). 'It's a white horse. Our Lord has triumphed.’ The Lord is the conqueror, the victor.
 2) The eyes of Jesus, the Second Coming Lord, are like flames (12). See 1:14. The Lord sees all things, and He knows all things.
 3) There are many crowns on his head (12). The Lord has crowned many crowns. The Lord is the King of all the kings of the world.
 4) The Lord was clothed with blood-stained clothes (13). This blood is the blood shed by Satan and the forces of evil. It was prophesied in Is. 63:2-3. Their blood spattered on my clothes and stained all my clothes (3).

2. What are the names and attributes of the four types of Adventism?
 1) ‘Faithful and True’ (11). These names means “faithfulness” and “no lies”. Let us all rely on the faithful and true Lord by faith.
 2) A name known only to the Lord (12). We cannot know the Lord all. The Lord is a Wonderful One (Is. 9:6). The Lord will engrave his name on the white stone he will give to the overcomer (Church of Pergamum, 2:17). Rev. 22:3-4, His name will be engraved on the foreheads of the saints in heaven. We may not know it all now, but then all mysteries will be revealed.
3) ‘The Word of God’ (13). Jesus is the ‘Word of God’, God (John 1:1,14). 1 John 1:1, Concerning the word of life from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, and what we have looked at and touched with our hands. I bless you by reading, learning, and knowing these words and getting closer to the Lord.
4) ‘King of kings, Lord of lords’ (16). Jesus is the Ruler of the whole world and the Lord of the whole world.

3. Then, what will the judgment of the Adventist look like?
 1) The Lord ‘judges with justice’ (11) 2) The Lord is escorted by the ‘armies of heaven’ (14). The armis of heaven are ① the angels in heaven (Mt. 26:53) and ② all the saints (Rv.17:14). Let's keep in mind that we are all heavenly army wearing righteous linen clothes and riding white horses and following the Lord.
3) The Lord strikes the nations with a sharp sword (15). He judges the adversaries with the sword of the Word.
4) He rules the nations with an iron scepter(15). Is. 11:4, striking the world with the rod of his mouth. Rev. 2:26-27, He promised that He would give an iron scepter to those who overcome so that they would break all nations like earthen vessels.
5) Jesus treads the winepress of God's wrath (15). 14:19-20, “The angel wielded his sickle upon the earth, and gathered the grapes of the earth and threw them into the winepresses of the wrath of God. Then the presses were trampled outside the city, and blood came from the presses and reached the bridles of the horses, a thousand and six hundred. It spread to Stadion.” The beast and wicked people who tempted and persecuted the saints will be judged by God's wrath and will be destroyed.

4. 17-21, show Adventism's final victory over Satan and his hordes.
An angel invites the birds to God's great feast (17). Eat the flesh of all the wicked and unbelievers! There is a war between the evil crowd and the Lord. The Lord one-sidedly triumphed, and the beast, false prophet, and idolaters who received the mark of the beast were unilaterally defeated, captured, and thrown alive into the sulfur fire. The rest are killed by the sword of the Word and become food for birds. In verses 17:7,9, we heard that the Lord invited the chosen saint, the Bride of the Lamb, to the wedding supper of the Lamb. He is truly a blessed life. 7 Let us rejoice and rejoice greatly, and give him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has prepared herself. 9The angel said to me, Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.
However, in verse 17, the wicked will be the object of God's great feast (judgment) of food for the birds. A truly tragic end. The Lord asks us at this time. What feast will you and your family and friends be associated with? Will it be a blessed life participating in the marriage supper of the Lamb? Or will it be the food of the birds of God's wretched great feast of food?

Dear saints, I pray that you all live as the blessed armies of the Lord who choose and long for the Second Coming Lord Jesus and His kingdom. Amen!
