12."Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13.I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  14."Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.  15.Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16."I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."  17.The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.  18.I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.  19.And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. 20.He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.  21.The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

  Faith life is similar to marathon racing. When I was a junior high school student, I went out as an athlete in a marathon 10km. I can't forget my feelings when I finished first place. We should all finish the faith marathon well to the end. What is the attitude and blessed attitude you are waiting for Jesus to come back to through John today?

1. The Lord will come soon (7,12,20).
  "Soon" means "suddenly".  The Lord, the beginning (Creator) and the last (Judge), will surely come again. The Saints of the early church had the 'Maranatha' faith ('Lord Jesus, come!", 20, 1 Cor.16:22). *Catacombs.
 True faith is to prepare and wait for the Lord to come again. Let us live in this faith today. 

2. The Lord will give you His award (12).
  The Lord will give us a Surprise package. What are the prizes?
1) Eternal life (14, tree of life) 2) Entering of the heaven (14, enter the door) 3) The Crowns (2 Timothy 4:7,8, Rv. 3:10, etc.) 4) Grace and peace (1:5) 5) Forgiveness of sins with his blood (14,1:5) 6) Heaven star who will shine forever (Dan. 12:3) 7) Fellowship with God.

3. Prepare well and wait (Dan. 12:13, 2 Pet. 3:8).
  For Him is a thousand years like a day. The Lord will surely come back, but we don't know the day. Let's run well, and fight the good fight well (2 Timothy 4:8). Hold on to God and His Word (18,19, Heb. 11:6) well. Let's preach Jesus Christ, the gospel and the heaven. Let’s look at Jesus and the cross and we pray that you are to be a blessed saint. Amen.
