1Thes. 5:18,2:13,3:6-10, Paul's thanks

 5:16-18,
Always rejoice, pray without ceasing, thank on all circumstances

 3:6-10,
  6.  But Timothy has just now come to us from you and has brought good news about your faith and love. He has told us that you always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we also long to see you.
7.Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith.
8.For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.
9.How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?
10.Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith.

2:13, And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.

The Bible is good, but it is hard to keep. 1Thes. 5:16-18, "Always rejoice, pray without ceasing, thank on all circumstances."
Paul was so grateful for the Thessaloniran Church. I hope his gratitude overflow with us.

Phil. 4:6,7; 6.Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1. Be grateful to stand firm in the Lord (3:8-9).

Paul is now in the midst of suffering and persecution in Corinth. But the Thessalonians, who is being persecuted, is grateful to hear that the Saints stand firm in the Lord. Thank you for the work of their faith and the labor of love and patience of hope (1:3).  “We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”

*Are you grateful to stand firm in the Lord?

2. Thank for wanting to see each other (6,7)

Paul longs for the Saints with their mother's heart and encourages, comforts, and warns them as their spiritual father. He wants to see their face like a brother. They also eager to see Paul. They thank each other for the intimate relationship you want to see each other.

 * Do you want to see Jesus and the Saints in faith?

3. The saints accept paul's word as the Word of God and thank them (2:13).

They accepted Paul's message as the Word of God (2:13). It was a well-received and fruitful good soil (a sower parable in Mt. 13).
 *General Naaman(2 K. 5), Zarephath Widow(1 K. 18), Peter(Lk.5), etc.

Heb, 4:12, ‘For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.’

*Do you live in the living Word?

Let us all stand firm in the Lord, be intimate with one another, receive the Word of God, and live blessed with a saint of gratitude, even in tribulation.
